It All Began Here:
In 1902, thirty-five founding members established the Outdoor Art Club with a bold vision: to protect the natural beauty of Mill Valley and shape the future of their community.
They did not wait quietly as old growth redwoods were removed near the train depot. Instead, they challenged the decisions of the day, organized with purpose, and took action to champion environmental stewardship and the thoughtful care of public spaces, a legacy that continues to define the Club today.
