Celebrate life’s most meaningful moments at the Outdoor Art Club, a breathtaking historic landmark nestled among Mill Valley’s redwoods. Our 1902 Arts & Crafts clubhouse and garden terrace offer a warm, timeless backdrop for weddings, milestone celebrations, and special gatherings.
Rental of our venue directly supports the preservation of this cherished nonprofit property, ensuring its beauty and purpose live on for generations.
Rental Rates
• Saturdays — $7,500 (2025), $8,000 (2026), $8,500 (2027)
• Fridays & Sundays — $6,500 (2025), $7,000 (2026), $7,500 (2027)

To ensure our venue is the perfect setting for your celebration, we offer required guided tours of the clubhouse before booking. Tours are held on Saturdays from 9:30–11:00 AM and may be reserved online.
Renovation Notice
Please note that the Clubhouse will be closed for renovation from December 15, 2025 through May 31, 2026 and unavailable for rental during that period.

Our 2025 rates are $7,500 for Saturdays and $6,500 for Fridays and Sundays. 2026 rental rates are $8,000 for Saturdays and $7,000 for Fridays and Sundays. 2027 rental rates are $8,500 for Saturdays and $7,500 for Fridays and Sundays. Rates are subject to change.

You will have access to the facility beginning at 10 am on the day of your event. Events must end by 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and by 10:00 pm on Sundays. Your caterer will have additional time to clean up. Music ends at 10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and at 9:30 on Sunday.

You may book your event up to 18 months in advance. Check the rental calendar for available dates.

The maximum number of guests is 140.

The Outdoor Art Club is a private club, and you must have an appointment to tour the property. Guided docent tours are held on Saturday mornings between 9:30 am and 11 am. You may make a tour reservation online. If you need to make special arrangements for a tour, please contact rentals@outdoorartclub.org.

Fifty percent of the rental fee is required to save your date. Once you receive your contract, you will have 10 business days to return it with your signature and deposit.

Yes. There is a refundable security deposit of $1500 as long as there is no damage to the property.

You must purchase a one-day event insurance policy. The terms and the vendor are specified in our contract. Proof of Insurance must be sent to the Rental Manager prior to the event.

You must use one of the caterers on our Required Caterer list, no exceptions. We will send you the list of caterers upon request. No food trucks are allowed.

Only the front patio may be tented. Tent provider must be approved by our Rental Manager.

All of the caterers on our required caterer list handle all of the linens, tableware, and glassware that are needed for your event.

Only service animals are allowed on the property. The club follows the ADA definition of a service animal.

All parking is on the street and in local lots. More information regarding parking is included in your contract packet.

No. The OAC is a NON-Smoking facility.
