Delivering Meals, Connection, and Care

In January, Outdoor Art Club members participated in a meaningful Meals on Wheels Ride-A-Long with Vivalon, an Outdoor Art Club Community Grants recipient, helping ensure Marin seniors receive both nourishment and human connection.

Volunteers gathered at the Vivalon Campus before joining Meals on Wheels staff on delivery routes throughout the community. Together, they delivered home-cooked meals directly to seniors’ doors, offering friendly conversation and a brief social visit along with each meal, an important reminder that wellness includes both food and connection.

As a special touch, members brought along small gifts for seniors and their pets, adding an extra moment of joy to the day. The smiles, gratitude, and shared stories made the experience especially meaningful for everyone involved.

The Outdoor Art Club is proud to support organizations like Meals on Wheels and Vivalon, whose work strengthens independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults across Marin County.
